Need some new season hairstyle inspiration? Then you've come to the right place! We've scoured the catwalk to find five hot-off-the-runway styles to inspire a whole new you.

The "Glunge" Look

Haven't heard of "glunge"? Well then it's time to add it to your hairstyling vocabulary because this look is everywhere right now! The mixture of 'grunge' and 'glamour' is a messy feminine look that adds a rebellious touch to any hairstyle. To replicate the look at home, try applying a texturizing spray to second day hair followed by a serum for shine.

The Bob

If you've been toying with the idea of getting your hair cut really short, the bob is the perfect style to ease into the transition. The best part about this look is that even if you have instant chop-regret, you won't go through any awkward regrowth stage because it will just transform into a gorgeous stylish lob! For an on-trend take on the bob, a side-swept wavy bob looks chic. Or, just ask your hairstylist to add some brow-skimming bangs.

The Tribal Braid

Braids are having a serious style moment right now. There's double braids, boxer braids, and braided crowns as well as unique takes on the classic plait, like this bold tribal braid. Drawing inspiration from Viking and African hairstyles, the great thing about this braided style is it doesn't have to be uniform – variations in the size and irregularity in the shape only add to the look. Go for it!

The Visible Hair Clip

The humble childhood hair clip is making a serious comeback – and embracing this trend could not be easier! To get on board the trend, simply create a deep side part and slide a colourful or jeweled hair clip into your hair. These are perfect if you're at that in-between fringe stage, or if you just want to add a little embellishment detail while wearing your hair out.

The Fringe Details

Fringes like super short baby bangs and long 70s-style curtain bangs are hugely on-trend at the moment. If you're not ready to take the fringe plunge, test the waters with a faux fringe. Simply pull some strands of hair to one side of your face and secure the ends underneath the lengths with neatly hidden bobby pins. Voila! Instant fringe without the commitment!
