Seasonal Change: 4 New Hair Colours For Autumn

The autumn leaves are changing colour – and you want your hair colour to change along with them! Make the transition with this season's new must-try shades.

Rich copper

The weather may be cooling down, but this season's 'it' hair colour is on fire! Taking inspiration from the multifaceted hues of a crackling campfire, the colour on everyone's lips this season is rich copper. The fiery shade makes a bold statement, and yet is wearable enough for every day. And speaking of your day-to-day style – if you're the kind of person that prefers a neutral-toned wardrobe, this new hair colour will be the crowning glory of your look.

Mocha brown

Blondes may have more fun, but so far in 2017 there's been a strong resurgence in the popularity of brunette shades. Our favourite incarnation this season is this luscious mocha shade. This colour is the perfect base for the transitional season as it gives you the option to add highlights, lowlights or even balayage details. (More on that below). As always with brunettes, the trick is to keep the colour ultra-shiny, so try a semi-permanent tone-on-tone treatment like the range to enhance lustre.

Ash blonde

As we farewell summer for another year (sob!) it's only natural that blondes will want to temper their colour to adjust to the new season. The highly wearable ash blonde is not only on-trend, but a great way to tone down more summery blonde hues. When applying this multi-dimensional shade, your stylist will implement hair contouring techniques to ensure the lighter and darker tones are placed in such a way that they best compliment the facial structure. To maintain the new hue, don't forget to use a colour care products like .

Barely there balayage

From the catwalk to the side walk, balayage has been a huge hit. However this year sees the hair colour technique evolving from a distinctive colour division to a subtle blend. This is apparent in the way that touches of lighter shades are being gently added through the mid lengths and ends to achieve a barely there balayage effect. The best part? This colour technique is low maintenance and grow-out friendly.
